Metro Health Journo Vicki-Marie Cossar Lost Weight And Feels Great

Metro Journalist Loses 11 pounds And Is "Full of the joys of spring"...

Thursday 9th October - Metro health journalist Vicki-Marie Cossar tells 800,000 readers about her experience at National Nutrition Clinic:

'Fed up with a constant lack of energy and a 'jelly belly', I had a biochemical assessment to see if there were any underlying factors affecting my ability to lose weight. The food screening found an intolerance to red pepper, which was interesting, and cutting it from my diet shrunk my bloated belly.

Cheryl asked me to focus on the GI (glycaemic index) of foods rather than their calories, so I incorporated protein into every meal to slow the release of glucose. The rules were easy to follow and I lost 5 pounds in the first two weeks. After two months I lost 11 pounds and, even though its grim outside, I've been full of the joys of spring". Vicki-Marie Cossar, Health Journalist, Metro newspaper
